Wee Learn Child Development Center
MISSION STATEMENT
This is a five-day a week program designed to provide a ministry to parents by providing a place that they can leave their children and are cared for in a loving and supportive environment.
The program provided for the children is developmentally sound and is designed to help them explore their interests and to provide them with an enriching experience. The Center ministers to the total child. It gives attention to their spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. These are emphasized and stressed in such a way that the child is being approached as a whole person.
The program is an integral part of the total ministry of the First Baptist Church. It is to be a serving and ministering arm of the church. As such, it is to take into account certain basic factors of child development, family life, social settings, moral, and spiritual environment, which identify the conditions that enable a child to realize his or her, own God given potential.
This facility is licensed through the Texas Dept. of Protective and Regulatory Services. All licensing rules and reports are available for viewing in the office or online at www.tdprs.state.tx.us. You may reach the licensing representative at (936)-633-7679. The abuse hotline is 1-800-252-5400. The latest state inspection will always be posted by the front door of Wee Learn CDC. A copy of Minimum Standards may be viewed in the Director’s Office upon request.
ENROLLMENT:
The Child Development Center operates a full-time program of 5 days a week. We are open year around. We accept children 6 weeks to 5 years and also have an after school program that takes ages pre-k through the 5th graders. Children will be accepted by completing the following steps:
(1) Interview with CDC personnel and the child’s parents
(2) Complete registration forms and:
(3) Payment of registration and tuition fees.
DAILY SCHEDULE:
Wee Learn CDC is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. year around.

Summer Care for Schoolers: Care is available for school-age children at the $430 per month rate.
